Project Parivartan for Indian Patent Office

Project Parivartan is Turnkey basis Project given to CDAC for full automation of Indian patent Offices in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.. The basic functioning of patent offices in India to grant the Patent of new invention, new design,. The inventor files application for grant of patent for his inventions and new products. Patent officials check his claim and after proper examination and verifications grant the patent. This process of grant of patent passes through various processes like examination, notification, opposition, claims, publication and then grant of patents. For grant of Patent & Design, filing an application various modules were developed using J2EE Architecture.

This Application is three-tier browser-based architecture. The objective of this application is to make easy and fast of these processes through new IT technology. There is Five IBM’s P-series server in clustering mode centrally located at Delhi IPO office in which all the application and Database resides. Through VPN (Virtual Private Network) all the offices connected with this server and all data store there only. Database is in oracle 9i on IBM’s AIX operating system. All these modules has been developed and accepted by user & implemented. An Applicant can file his application online and can pay his fee online. Public also can search different patents according to his requirements and can get detail regarding patent.
