Mapping of NELP Blocks- II for (DGH)

The Project involved creation of Geo-Database for Mapping the Exploration Blocks on offer under the New Exploration Licensing Policy for Directorate General of Hydrocarbon (Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas), New Delhi. This involved integration of geo-database from Survey of India, Navigational charts from National Hydrographic Office and Blocks Information from DGH. Application software along with GIS interface has been developed with the capability of thematic mapping, identifying, data browsing and report writing etc. The maps have been prepared from various sources of information and with different projection system after re-projecting them with Standard Mercator projection with Everest Spheroid on land mapping and WGS-84 for offshore mapping. The prepared map Blocks are depicted below:
