INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANCY CLINIC

Second edition: The pioneering activities in the academic wing of C-DAC, Noida is Information Technology Consultancy Clinic (IT-CC), (initially started with support of DSIR, Govt. of India, now being run independently by CDAC, Noida),which is aimed at providing incubation facilities for the SME sector. It also functions as a Vendor Development Unit for the Teaming Partners who provide the maintenance, training & handholding and other support for the various projects C-DAC, Noida undertakes outside its campus.

In order to strengthen the above activities, CDAC, Noida organized “Industrial Liasioning Workshop On I.T. -Technopreneurship” on January 9, 2009 at CDAC Auditorium, B-30, Sector – 62, Noida – 201307, with objectives:

·  To Identify and develop Entrepreneurial partners for outsourcing the products and services developed by C-DAC Noida.

· To display inbuilt software solutions of C-DAC Noida.

· To promote IT advisory services of IT-CC.

 The program began early in the day with the registrations of the participants at the reception desk. As the registration activities continued, the program was officially announced open with the lighting of the lamp by Shri R. R. Abhyankar, Scientist “G”, IR, Shri E. K. Bharat Bhushan, IAS, JSFA, DIT and Dr. George Varkey, Executive Director, C-DAC, Noida.

 

 

 It was followed by a welcome speech by Dr. George Varkey. Then Shri R.R. Abhyankar delivered a Keynote to the participants about ITCC initiatives.  Shri E. K. Bharat Bhushan delivered the inaugural speech to house.

 

    The following Software solutions were discussed:

1. Hospital Management Information System
2. E-Governance
3. Digital Library
4. Embedded Systems
5. BoSS Linux

The workshop was brought to an end with a panel discussion headed by Dr. George Varkey, E.D., and all project Heads, CDAC, Noida, an entrepreneurial development and partnership with a positive note.
