WHY
CDAC?
-
Group And Self-Learning:
It is a very effective means towards preparing professionals who are proactive in seeking and acquiring knowledge rather than having it imparted only in the class room. Free exchange of ideas among the group members through discussions and presentations not only leverages on time and effort but also enhances teaching and communication skills. Aptitude is developed for self study through use of web resources and data banks to foster life long learning.
-
Tutorial Problem Solving exercises:
Most theoretical courses need interactive discussion in small tutorial-groups. These groups are given opportunities for problem solving, design exercises and information search and processing. Aptitude is developed for self-study and use of web resources and databanks to foster life long learning.
-
Project Activity:
Laboratory exercises are designed to encourage measurement skills, problem solving through experimentation, and open learning.
-
Evaluation Procedures:
The Institute follows continuous evaluation approach. Multiple inputs are obtained for evaluation of students performance through assignment , written tests, and a holistic view is taken of all these inputs for giving the final course grade. A dynamic system of weightages
for the various component inputs of performance evaluation,
project activity, presentation, group behavior and leadership
qualities, has been put in place.
-
Guest Lectures &
Seminars: Eminent IT professionals, Seniors of various
industries of relevance and other eminent persons are invited to
the campus regularly for guest lectures before the institute
fraternity. Seminars on various relevant IT themes are also
organized.
-
Latest Curricula:
Faculty and students are continuously exposed to the latest tools
and techniques in their domains.
