CDAC is a center for research and education at the postgraduate levels in
VLSI design. M.Tech (VLSI) degree program aims at a broad education across
various topics in VLSI field.
Special features in M.Tech (VLSI). Program in CDAC NOIDA, includes regular
seminars from external experts in all courses. The program also puts an
emphasis on research seminars by students in every semester. M.Tech
students have to spend one year on their research project to maintain high
quality work, which leads to many international level conference/journal
papers.
In
addition to regular courses, the Research area in VLSI is mainly focused
on Low power circuit designing, Analog Digital Mixed signal design
circuitry and characterization.
Fields in which interdisciplinary work has been undertaken include,
Algorithms for design Automation, RFID for wireless communication, and Low
power DSP.
