GUIDELINES FOR PLACEMENT

1.   The Placement Cell will try to provide opportunity to all the eligible students to secure a job. A Policy of  ONE STUDENT ONE JOB  will be pursued till all the eligible students (as per the criteria placed by the Recruiting Company ) are placed.

2.   The  Placement Cell will invite companies to C-DAC, Noida Campus for Recruiting the students. However, if the number of eligible students (as per the Company’s selection criteria)  is less or if the Recruiting Company insists, the students can be sent for Pool Campus Recruitment Drives in other colleges or the same can be arranged in C-DAC, Noida. Any travelling arrangement/expenditure is the responsibility of the student.

3.   If the Recruiting Company insists, the students can be sent to the Company itself for the Recruitment Drive. Any  travelling /accommodation  arrangement  and expenditure in this regard is the responsibility  of the students, if the same is not borne by the Company.

4.  Placement Cell does not have any say in the shortlisting of students which is done by the Recruiting Company on the basis of the past academic performance of the student and the Performance at C-DAC and its HR Policy.

5.  Once a student expresses his or her willingness to attend a Recruitment Drive, he/she  will not be allowed to withdraw at any stage in between  the drive. In case of such a deviation, the Placement Cell would not provide  any Placement Support to such a candidate.

6. C-DAC does not guarantee any say in the terms and conditions of Appointment.

7.  After accepting a Job Offer, if a student decides to withdraw his/her acceptance , he/she must inform  the concerned company through Placement Cell immediately.

In such a case, C-DAC,Noida is not liable to provide any further Placement Assistance to such a student.

8.  In case a student is placed on his own and is not interested in taking Placement Assistance from C-DAC,Noida , he/she must inform the Placement Cell about it in writing with a copy of the Offer Letter for Official Records so that his /her name is not considered for Placement Support.

9.  Students registered under Sponsored Category will not be eligible for Placement Assistance.

10.  C-DAC, Noida will not be held responsible for any delay in receiving Offer Letter/Joining Dates from the  Recruiting Company.

However the Placement Cell will follow up with the concerned Company for the same.

11.  C-DAC, Noida will not be liable for any withdrawal of Offer from any Recruiting Company. However the Placement Cell will continue to provide Placement Assistance to such students till the time he/she is placed within the scheduled time frame.

12. C-DAC does not guarantee Placement Assistance to students registered for courses of less than 6 months duration However the Placement Cell will maintain resumes of such  students who will show  interest in getting Placement Assistance from C-DAC. In case suitable requirement comes up, these resumes will be forwarded.

This policy is subject to change at a later stage at the discretion of the Placement Cell. The changes made if any , will be notified accordingly.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS :

  • Students are advised to visit the website of the Recruiting Company, attend the Pre-Placement Talk and go through the Job Description carefully  before expressing their willingness to attend any Recruitment Drive.
  • The Students must be formally dressed and carry 2 copies of their updated Resume and 2 passport size photographs during any Recruitment Drive., unless otherwise specified.
  • In case a Recruiting Company reports the use of  unfair means by a candidate during the Recruitment Drives, then such a student may have to forgo all future Placement Assistance from  C-DAC, Noida. Decision of the Placement Cell will be final in this regard.
  • Students should :
  1. Maintain minimum 75% attendance including Personality Development Classes. In case of any deviation, such students will have to provide a Written Application with proper Supporting Document (Medical Certificate etc). The decision of the Placement Cell and the Head of the School would be final in this regard.
  1. Clear all Internal tests and Assignments as many Companies shortlist students on the basis of the same
